Job Summary
Established Residential Property Management Company seeks qualified candidate for a part-time Financial Accountant. This position is primarily responsible for creating monthly financial reporting packages for HOA and Condo Association clients. Would work with a small accounting department and management team. Part-time position with the prospect of full time. Daily hours in office (approx. 25-30 hours per month). No evenings or weekends.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial reports for clients.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of bank accounts.
- Work with Lead Accounting Coordinator.
- Learn and utilize the company’s financial accounting software.
- Work with management team members on projects requiring accounting input/guidance.
- Work with clients to answer questions as well as improve report accuracy.
Qualifications & Skills:
- College coursework in accounting.
- Excel proficiency.
- Attention to Detail.
- Familiar with accrual-based accounting would be a plus.
- General knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
- Coordinate with outside accountant on items that require special treatment.
